The town of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region is a strategic location: this is the hotspot where the Ukrainian defenders are fighting tooth and nail against the massive russian onslaught. This town has now become world-famous as a symbol of Ukraine’s valiant resistance. On October 8-9, my friend and I went to the frontlines in this key operational area to deliver most of the supplies from our previous “Protect Ukrainian Defenders” fundraiser.

Dear donors, It’s time to tell you more about how your donations are helping our defenders. In our supply runs in November, we delivered equipment to Ukrainian medics from four Brigades, who had previously requested our help. Two of them are fighting in the North-East, and two in Donetsk region. All of these medics have senior positions in their units, so we know that they allocate the supplies in the best way possible. Half of our recipients were women and half were men. They are all selfless and kind.

We are a group of civilian volunteers who crowdfund to buy medical equipment and non-lethal technical devices for Ukraine's Armed Forces. We then deliver these supplies ourselves to the frontlines to those Ukrainian military units who need them most. We have procured supplies worth over $200 thousand. We all have day jobs and donate a big part of our own incomes to the cause. But our financial resources are not limitless, so we need external support to keep doing this work in the long run.

We do not spend any donated funds on subsistence, fuel, vehicle repair, customs clearance or administrative expenses. We cover those from our own pockets. We procure the goods directly, without any intermediaries, so we buy at best value for your donations.
We personally ensure bringing the purchased goods to the units of Ukraine’s Armed Forces that we support, and we act fast to move those supplies to where they are needed right now.
We have built direct contacts with commanders and combat medics, who can count on us. We discuss their needs extensively before ordering any supplies. This ensures that we know the exact quantity of specific items that are needed at this very moment.
Before this large-scale war, Sergii and Evgen had taken several extensive training courses on pre-hospital medical care. We also keep deepening our knowledge of tactical medicine and TCCC protocols every day.
We report about all the donated funds and about the expenditures from those funds. We are open to any questions about our purchases and handovers, to the extent that the security concerns allow.
We had spent our own funds before launching large-scale fundraisers, and we’ll keep chipping in with our own money for these purchases as we earn money in our official jobs.
